This is much more compact, and holds everything I need for a day trip. My first diaper bag ends up being like a bottomless pit this one never does. I can keep two baby bottles on the inside pockets and two on the outside. The outside bottle pockets are a little snug so only a baby bottle will fit in there - not a Sigg type water bottle- but the Sigg fits nicely in the inside bottle pocket. There is a pocket on the back of the bag which holds the diaper pad, and then there are two pockets on the inside that are perfect for holding baby wipes and hand wipes, plus an inside zip pocket that holds extra diapers. Once the diapers, wipes, and bottles are loaded, there is still space in the main compartment for snacks or small toys/books etc. The beauty of this bag is that there is a place for all of MY stuff that is separated from the baby stuff. So in the front of the bag there is a zipped area for my wallet and other belongings, with a pocket in front of that for my cell phone, and a small zipped pocket where I usually stick my keys. For a relatively compact bag this was well thought out. I love that it converts to a backpack although since its not super heavy like my first diaper bag, I havent had the urge to use it as a backpack yet. It fits great in the bin under the stroller (my other bag wouldnt come close). The spare straps for attaching it to a stroller are great too. We have the extra stroller swivel hooks and I can just pop those straps on and off. It is made well and seems like it will last. I cant say enough good things about this bag. I use it now for every outing, and once my son is older I am sure Ill end up using it for myself.
